About Living Word Bible Church


Thank you for taking the time to find out more about Living Word Bible Church and our community. Living Word Bible Church was established in West River, MD in 2004. We hope that after you look through our website and attend our wednesday prayer service, you will consider becoming a more active part of our growing community of faith.

Lead by Harry Felder, Living Word Bible Church offers many ministries for people of all ages and walks of life who are looking to strengthen their relationship with Christ.

We offer ministries in Youth Ministry, Men's Ministry, Women's Ministry, Small Groups.

Mission Statement

When we think of where we started from , we are so very humbled to know where we are at our present time. In only 5 years time one must recognize God's hand on this body of believers. We have put total trust in Him; we live by faith not by sight. We have learned "He who answers before listening (to God) that is his folly and his shame." Proverbs 18:13 We Hve come to the conclusion that when a congregation takes ownership of a vision and powerfully lives that vision in a Christ-like-manner, they will follow that vision to the end of the earth. Our vision from the beginning was to base the church on Jesus Christ which we have done. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1 That is why our name is "Living Word Bible Church" we as a family of believers made a commitment to Him and His Word "They read the Book of the Law of God, making it clear and giving meaning so that the people could understand what was being read." Nehemiah 8:8 We have come to the conclusion that the family who prays together stays together; this is why we are known as the church with a heart.
